Omoide

思い出 — memories, kept close

Privacy Policy

Omoide is a calm album for moments you do not want to lose — dates, faces, places, and the words that go with them. This page explains what the app may access, what stays on your side, and what we never put up for sale.

Who This Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the Omoide mobile app on the Apple App Store and to read-only content served from this website’s API. It is meant for people who use Omoide and visitors reading this page.

Information We Collect

Omoide does not ask for your legal name, email, phone number, home address, government ID, or payment details to use its core memory features.

Entry titles, diary lines, dates, and labels you add remain for your in-app experience. We do not repurpose that content for targeted ads or resale.

When the app loads shared wording — welcome screens, sample timelines, or empty-state hints — it may fetch public JSON from this domain. Those files contain generic copy, not your private albums.

Photos and Permissions

If you attach images to a memory, Omoide may request photo library access only when you choose to import. Camera, microphone, contacts, and location stay unused unless a future feature clearly needs them and this policy is updated.

Standard iOS storage and networking support optional templates and updates. Diagnostics you share with Apple follow Apple’s privacy terms.

Hosting Partners

Infrastructure providers operate this policy page and our public API. They keep traffic logs needed to run the service under their own practices.

Should we add analytics or support tools later, we will list them here and limit collection to what those tools require.

Children

Omoide is not aimed at users under 13. We do not knowingly gather personal data from children. Contact App Store support if a minor submitted information and we will help remove it where possible.

Retention and Safety

Memories you keep in Omoide stay under your control on your device. Delete individual entries in the app or remove Omoide to clear local storage.

We protect hosted pages and APIs with reasonable measures. No service is perfectly secure — guard fragile stories as you would a family album.

Your Choices

You may stop using Omoide at any time. Turn off photo or network access in iOS Settings for a quieter, offline rhythm where supported.

For access, correction, or deletion requests about data we manage, use the support link on the App Store listing.

Policy Changes

We may revise this policy as Omoide grows or laws change. The date above marks meaningful updates. Continued use after a revision means you accept the new terms where permitted by law.
